What is BLB Sherlin Lash Convention 2024 about? The BLB Sherlin Lash Convention 2024 is the first-ever DMV lash convention. It is a space that celebrates not only the DMV but also BIPOC artists who are often excluded from lash events. We have created a platform where local vendors can promote their product lines, network with fellow artists, and benefit from the expertise of our speakers.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there is free parking available at the venue.

Can I take public transportation to the venue?

Yes, you can. The C4 TWINBROOK- HYATTSVILLE CROSSING STATION. Get off at the Parklawn Dr & Braxfield Ct stop. The venue is not far from the stop.

Registration and Tickets

Can I transfer my registration to another person? Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes after purchase.

Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend the convention?

We adhere to a strict no-refund policy due to the nature of the event.

Program and Sessions

Will there be networking opportunities at the convention? Absolutely! We encourage all attendees to network and get to know other local artists. Although we don't have a designated networking time, the event space is laid out to encourage socializing and networking.

Can I suggest a topic or speaker for a session? We welcome suggestions for topics and speakers. Please submit your suggestions through our Instagram page, and our programming team will review them.

Accommodation and Travel

Are there recommended hotels for accommodation? Yes, we can recommend several hotels in the area. We suggest booking in advance and have found that Priceline offers the best deals. All of the listed hotels are located within a 15-minute distance from the venue and have access to public transportation.

Which airport should I travel to?

We have three airports in the area. All three have access to public transportation, making it easy to reach our location. Please note that ride shares from the airport can be expensive, so using the metro is a great alternative.

Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA)

Can I take public Transportation from the airport to the area near the venue?

Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA): Walk to Terminal 2 and follow the signs to the metro.

• Take the Blue Line towards Largo, get off at Metro Center.
• Go to the upstairs platform labeled Red Line towards Shady Grove.
• Depending on which hotel you're staying at, you will get off at North Bethesda, Twinbrook, or Rockville.
• All hotels mentioned above are within walking distance from a metro station.

Dulles International Airport (IAD):

Traveling back from Dulles to the Rockville Area by taking the Metro.

• Start by walking to the Innovation Center Metrorail Station, following the airport signs.
• Take the Silver Line towards Largo and get off at Metro Center.
• Go to the upstairs platform labeled Red Line towards Shady Grove.
• Depending on the hotel you're staying at, you will get off at either North Bethesda, Twinbrook, or Rockville.
• All the mentioned hotels are within walking distance from a metro station.

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI):

Traveling back from BWI to the Rockville Area using the MARC + Metro:

• Walk towards the BWI International Terminal E.
• Take the bus 75 towards Arundel Mills Shopping Center and get off at the Marc Station.
• Take the Marc Train headed towards Washington and get off at Union Station.
• Follow the signs to get to the metro.
• Take the red line train towards Shady Grove.
• Depending on which hotel you're staying at, you will get off at North Bethesda, Twinbrook, or Rockville. All of the mentioned hotels are within walking distance from a metro station.
